Greetings NDS Sisters, NCNW Friends, Supporters, and Interested Parties.

 

We are excited you have stopped by the New Dominion Section of the National Council of Negro Women to view the great things we are doing in our service area! As you find the information you are seeking, please do not hesitate to reach out and connect with us. Since our chartering on June 3, 2018, we have been paving our way in service to our community. As the newly elected president for the 2022-2024 section years, our goals are threefold: 

 

1. Member Wellness: We will focus on each member’s well being through knowledge sessions, wellness events, and bonding activities.

2. Fundraising: We will focus on raising additional funds for our community service projects and scholarship fund.

3. NDS Membership Growth: We will focus on growing the section’s membership to strengthen our impact and support in the community.

I believe we must be our best, healthiest selves in order to effectively support and help our communities. When we are healthy and mindful, we can focus on the needs of the community, organize around a common goal, and continue our impact. Our fundraising goals will get us there and the more members we have the more progress we can make. We will meet these goals with integrity, treating each other with honesty and respect through teamwork and delivering all that

we do with excellence. Please join me in these goals as we continue to strive and thrive in our communities.
